Sorry about the Spam...Trying to get all this organized! Thx Dennis
Sorry if I gnarled it but you chaps will have to allow for the amateur 80 year olds if you want to live up to your publicity. If I 404'd it I will try again here and apologise if I'm still being dumb.
Running Repair Permissions, which I do regularly, received a message that the HD was corrupted and followed the instructions on re-starting from the Restore disc. Tried to follow religiously as follows; selected Mac HD in Disc Utilities, clicked Verify button, nothing happened except the button went from Blue to White, and I gave it five minutes to show some activity, but nothing. The clicked on the Hitachi HT33 icon, clicked Verify, worked immediately but it only came up with "partition map appears o.k., clicked on Repair Disc and got exactly the same message. Thought I'd try Restore; clicked MOSX Base system icon and restore button, got message "start up disc cannot be used, etc....
Have no idea what all that means or what is going on, so seeking help, please.

Show Notes Coming Soon...
Why Not?
Seriously, the idea behind all of our Podcasts, Screencasts and Blogs have all had one thing in common. They have all started with the word "Your" for example YourMacNetwork. I have always believed that a Website or Podcast is all about you. What fun is it to do all this work, writing posts, recording podcasts, creating video tutorials if no one is interacting with us?
We have always wanted to get to know you better. I mean why do you like Apple stuff?
What tips or tricks can you share?
How about your favorite iPhone Apps?
We here at Your Mac Network want to interact with our listeners like never before.
So we are trying a "Social Network Style Plugin". We chose Mingle mainly because it's Free and seems easy. PLEASE sign up and share your Mac and iOS Tips, Questions, Favorites, Rants and anything else Mac Related.
Thanks Dennis
